The library isn't just a place to read anymore, it's a place for music and learning.
For Alberta Culture Days the library celebrated with artwork, musical acts and of course coffee and treats. Everyone had a great time as faculty, students and community members were able to take a break and relax together. The event was especially fun thanks to the daycare kids who stopped by the library to take part. The kids themselves had great fun hanging out with Denise Henning (our MHC president) and David Humphrey showing them how a Ukulele worked. Thanks to everyone who took part for making the event such a success and thanks to Valarie Westers for organizing it.
We hope to bring more fun events to the library, so keep a look out for the next one.

Congratulations to Brittany Sander!
This last week the library hosted a “Show us your ID” draw. Where students received a draw slip when using their ID’s within the library. The draw proved to be a big hit and Brittany is the proud owner of a new backpack full of school supplies. Keep a look out for future draws hosted by the library.
