The Vera Bracken and Brooks Campus Libraries will be closed on Thursday, July 1st for the Canada Day holiday. With the exception of that day, the libraries will operate according to regular hours on the preceding and following days.

The Canadian Library Association (CLA) is seeking consultation from members and stakeholders as it begins to restructuring itself. To this end, current CLA President, Keith Walker petitions those members and stakeholders to participate in the process:

The Brooks Campus Library will be closed from June 18th to July 5th, 2010 for renovations. Though the physical space is unavailable, you can still get assistance from library staff by seeing the Registration Desk at the Brooks Campus.

The Vera Bracken Library will be closed on Saturday, June 19th for maintenance to electrical systems. With the exception of this day, the library will continue to operate under the normal spring hours until June 25th – at which time both libraries (Vera Bracken and Brooks Campus) will operate according to the summer schedule.

During the course of their presentation, they shared their research, experience, and successes with the audiences. The presentation was always well received and is proving to be a model for other libraries as they consider launching their own services.
