New Databases Added

Medicine Hat College Library Services has added two new databases to our collection. The new resources are:

  • Bowker's Global Books in Print. This is a resource that lets you search for bibliographic information for "more than 12.5 million in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming books, audio books, and videos". The database also contains more than 2.2 million professional reviews.

  • Xreferplus. In this resource, you will find more than 200 reference books (atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias and general fact books). There is something for everyone in this database. A sample of the subject matter includes: art, business, criminal justice, design, fashion, literature, medicine, and the sciences.
Both are available for on campus and home access. Access to Xreferplus is made possible due to our partnership in the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library initiative.
